Privacy Policy

WireSnare, a Delaware corporation (Company, we, our, or us) is committed to safeguarding the privacy, confidentiality, and security of the personal information it collects and processes in connection with its software-as-a-service platform and related services (the Services). This Privacy Policy describes how Company collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information obtained through the Services, websites, and related business operations. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by Company in connection with the Services and supersedes prior statements or notices relating to such Services unless expressly stated otherwise.
Circumstances where Company collects information
Company provides Services primarily to businesses, organizations, and other legal entities (Customers) for business purposes. The personal information Company collects relates to Customers and their employees, representatives, authorized users, prospective customers, and other individuals who interact with the Services, Company website, or Company personnel.
Circumstances in which Company may collect personal information include the following:
- Browsing our Website. When you visit or browse our website, Company may collect certain information automatically, including device information, browser type, IP address, usage activity, and information collected through cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies, as described in any applicable website privacy notice or cookie policy.
- Your Inquiries. When you contact Company, request information, complete forms, register for events, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with Company by email, telephone, chat, or other means, Company may collect and retain information relating to those communications. Subject to applicable law, Company may monitor or record communications for security, training, support, quality assurance, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Opening an Account or Using the Services. When a Customer registers for or uses the Services, Company may collect information relating to the Customer and its authorized users, administrators, employees, contractors, or representatives, including names, business contact information, account credentials, billing information, subscription details, and information relating to the use and administration of the Services.
- Information Processed Through the Services. Customers may upload, submit, store, transmit, or otherwise make available information through the Services (Customer Data), which may include personal information relating to Customer personnel, clients, end users, or other individuals. Company processes such information on behalf of Customers in accordance with applicable agreements and Customer instructions.
- Information from Third Parties and Integrations. Company may receive information from third-party service providers, integration partners, authentication providers, publicly available sources, and business partners in connection with the provision, support, enhancement, or integration of the Services.
Company may transmit, transfer, store, or process personal information in the United States and other jurisdictions where Company or its service providers operate, as necessary to provide the Services and conduct business operations, and in accordance with applicable law. Company implements reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information during such transfers.
Use and disclosure of information
Company uses, retains, and discloses personal information for legitimate business, operational, legal, security, and compliance purposes, including to (i) provide, maintain, support, secure, and improve the Services; (ii) authenticate users and administer accounts; (iii) communicate with Customers and authorized users; (iv) process transactions and manage billing; (v) monitor usage and protect the integrity and security of the Services and related systems; (vi) comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and legal processes; (vii) investigate fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or other prohibited activities; (viii) develop new products, features, and functionality; (ix) provide product updates, notices, and service-related communications; and (x) otherwise operate Company's business in accordance with applicable law. Company may also use personal information as permitted by Customer agreements, user instructions or consent, or other applicable law.
Examples where Company uses and discloses information include:
- Service Providers. Company may disclose personal information to vendors, contractors, hosting providers, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics providers, customer support providers, and other service providers that perform services on Company's behalf. Company requires such parties to protect personal information and use it only for authorized business purposes consistent with applicable agreements and law.
- Government Inquiries. Company may disclose information to regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, courts, or other governmental entities where Company believes such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect against fraud, unauthorized activity, security incidents, or violations of Company's agreements, policies, or rights.
- Referral Programs. Where a Customer is referred to Company by a business partner, reseller, referral source, or integration partner, Company may share limited account or business information as reasonably necessary to administer the applicable relationship, referral arrangement, customer support activities, account management functions, or related commercial obligations, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.
- Integrations and Third-Party Platforms. Where Customers enable integrations or connect the Services with third-party applications, platforms, or service providers, Company may share information with such third parties as necessary to provide the requested integration, interoperability, or functionality. Such third parties may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.
- Customer Data and Service Operations. In connection with providing the Services, Company may process, store, transmit, or disclose Customer Data to subprocessors, infrastructure providers, hosting providers, communication providers, and other authorized third parties as necessary to operate, support, secure, and maintain the Services and related systems.
- De-identified Information. Company may use and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify any individual for lawful business purposes, including analytics, benchmarking, research, product development, operational reporting, security monitoring, and service improvement.
Protection of cardholder and customer data
Company has implemented various measures, in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), to help ensure the security and confidentiality of cardholder and Customer data. These measures include appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information and against unauthorized access to or use of such information.
Retention of information
Company retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Company's agreements and legal rights.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required for these purposes, Company will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of such information in accordance with applicable law and Company's data retention and records management practices.
Personal information
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identified or identifiable individual, as defined under applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Personal information generally does not include anonymized or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.
Modifications to Privacy Statement
Company may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, business practices, or the Services. When Company updates this Privacy Policy, Company will revise the “Last Updated” date or provide other appropriate notice as required by applicable law.
Any changes will become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Services following the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the revised terms.
For our European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Canadian customers
EU and UK customers
Company may process personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK) in connection with the provision of the Services. This processing may occur both within and outside of the EEA and UK, including in the United States, where certain processing activities are performed by Company or its affiliates and service providers. Company implements appropriate safeguards for such international transfers and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Where required, Company handles such personal information in accordance with applicable regional data protection frameworks and internal privacy governance policies designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection for personal data processed in connection with the Services.
Canadian customers
Company may process personal information in Canada and in other jurisdictions outside of Canada, as necessary to provide the Services. Personal information may be subject to disclosure to courts, law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies, or governmental agencies in Canada or other jurisdictions where required or permitted by applicable law.
Personal information may be stored at Company facilities, on Company systems, or on the systems of authorized third-party service providers. Access to personal information is limited to authorized employees, contractors, agents, and service providers who require such access to perform their duties and provide the Services.
Subject to applicable law, individuals may withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of their personal information at any time, subject to reasonable notice and legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting Company's Chief Privacy Officer using the contact information provided below. However, withdrawal of consent may impact Company's ability to provide some or all of the Services. Individuals may also request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Chief Privacy Officer. Company may take reasonable steps to verify identity prior to granting access or making corrections. Individuals may also contact the Chief Privacy Officer with any questions regarding Company's privacy practices, including the use of service providers located outside of Canada.
